Petersham Festival 2010 - One of the Top 15 "Best Events Worldwide" - Gramophone Magazine June 2010

Although there will not be a Petersham Festival during 2011, we would like to draw to your attention the following
events organised by other parties and to be held in Petersham:

6pm Saturday 5 February 2011:
Internationally acclaimed organist Thomas Trotter will play the new St Martin organ at St Peter's Church

Thomas Trotter is one of Britain's most widely admired musicians. In May 2002 he received the Royal Philharmonic
Society's prestigious Instrumentalist Award in recognition of his particular achievements in 2001 and as "one of the
foremost exponents of the organist's art". He makes the organ one of the most warmly Romantic of instruments. His
technical and musical accomplishments have played a significant role in raising the profile of the organ…"

Great Passion arias by J.S. Bach - 6 to 7pm on Sunday 10th April 2011

This concert will again raise funds to support people with learning disabilities (Down's Syndrome, autism etc) who are cared
for by HFT in Kingston. Hosted in a beautiful, grade 2 listed church in Surrey, superb local professional musicians and soloists
will perform some of the greatest music ever composed, evoking the true emotions of Passion Sunday. The intimate,
atmospheric and period interior of St. Peter’s Church in Petersham , with its unique architecture and rare box pews, creates
the perfect setting in which to feel the true power of this wonderful music.
